Ядерная оболочка, я. мембрана — двойная липопротеидная мембрана, которая окружает ядра эукариотических клеток, отделяя их от цитоплазмы. Внешняя (наружная) мембрана тесно связана с некоторой частью ретикулума эндоплазматического, а внутренняя мембрана выполняет функции организации хроматина (путем зацепления петлевых доменов, см.). Обе мембраны пронизаны комплексом пор ( ядерных пор, см.), которые состоят из центрального канала и наружного белкового слоя и участвуют в процессах импорта и экспорта веществ.Англо-русский толковый словарь генетических терминов > nuclear envelope
